The National Archives (TNA) at Kew, London is the official archive and publisher for the UK government and for England and Wales. They are the guardians of over 1000 years of national documents. They collect and secure government records to preserve them and make them accessible now and for future generations. Governments play a role in every individual’s life and as such, TNA holds many records relating to our ancestral research.
Join Helen on a dive into TNA records and how to use Discovery (the TNA catalogue search engine).

Come and join Helen V Smith and learn how to use this valuable archive.
