Dorset Family History Society is hosting an Online Zoom Meeting on Tuesday 27th May 2025 with Log in from 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.
The speaker is MICHAEL H HALLETT talking on 'HEROES AND GHOSTS - HOW SCANDAL AND SHAME CAN AFFECT GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH'.
Grandson of pioneering aviator Wing Commander Harold Blackburn MC AFC, Michael is a former industrial process analyst who turned to analysing human processes to resolve issues arising from the breakdown of his grandfather’s marriage in the 1930s. This led Michael to create Living With Ghosts, the world’s first online course on generational trauma, and to create family history society talks on the mechanics of shame and trauma.
Heroes & Ghosts is “a poignant, aviation-based, family history story relayed with clarity and humour.”

Those who do not receive E-News, or who are not Society Members, are welcome to join this meeting and should email liaison@dorsetfhs.org.uk with a request for an invitation link. This request should reach us at least 6 hours before the meeting is due to start, and the link will be sent about 2 hours before the meeting starts.
We welcome a £3.00 donation from each person after they have attended a meeting, payable on the Society's website www.dorsetfhs.org.uk
