IHGS Zoom Tutorial - An English Village: How to Find Out About a Place with Judith Batchelor

It is not uncommon to find that we have ancestors who in years gone by, lived in rural villages that are totally unfamiliar to us today. In this tutorial, we will be looking at how you can learn about a place and its history. Discover more about the records and sources that can provide you with information about a village's inhabitants. 

Our online tutorials provide guidance on a broad range of topics. They are open to everyone.

In order to be able to join the tutorial you will need access to ZOOM. On the day of the Tutorial you will be sent a unique ID and password.

Please allow for two hours for the session, including joining and discussions. The talk will last approximately an hour.
