An overview of the commonly found title deeds in public archives; their history, meaning, and significance for historical research, how to find them, and how to interpret them. This will cover the usual forms of these records from the 13th – 20th Centuries, with examples from the collections held at the Bath Record Office: Archives & Local Studies service.
