Where will we be without Vincent, Keyes, Pam and Mayhew? with David Cufley

Saturday 5th September 2026, 10:30-12:30
Dartford Science and Technology College Heath Lane Dartford Kent DA1 2LY
A North West Kent FHS event

This talk tells how these historians helped to give background to your research. They are four heroes of David Cufley's. It will take you on a journey from Enfield in North London through London and its labouring poor into Woolwich and then Dartford.

This talk was originally given in 2009 at the NWKFHS AGM and has been featured in the Journal (available in the Web Site MOA) and in one of our Zoom sessions.

This talk is a change from the talk originally scheduled.

Doors open 9.45am. The meeting / talk will start at 10.30am and end by 12.30pm.

The Talk venue has a large, free car park but it is shared with other users and can be busy at times.

No booking, just turn up.

The Society is a registered charity and membership fees and donations are an important part of our income. The Talk is free to members but guests and visitors are asked to make a donation towards hall hire and speaker's fee. There will be a donations box at the venue.
