A North West Kent FHS event

Frances is the daughter of an adopted person who died without revealing his status.

In the process of trying to get to the truth about her father’s birth she ran a successful campaign, on behalf of all descendants of deceased adopted persons, that led to Parliament amending the Adoption Act. She will talk about the history of her campaign and what a difference the change makes to people like her.

Log in from 7.15pm and enjoy chat with the other participants before the workshop starts.

Please ensure you use your real name when joining our Zoom events. Participants appearing as 'Zoom User' or similar will not be admitted, as this helps us prevent scammers from joining.
